In the streets of Italy

StreetsOf is a digital zine publishing illustrations made from artists from all over the world. I had the incredible opportunity to participate in the series featuring my home country: “In the Streets of Italy”. I chose to pay tribute to the place closest to my heart…helped, admittedly, by an abundance of reference material gathered over the years.

Cremona is a small jewel set within the Pianura Padana countryside, its true richness lying in its atmosphere and subtle beauty. In Piazza del Comune, one can admire the Torrazzo (the tallest clock tower in Europe!) and experience a setting that fully embodies the essence of Dolce Vita. Slow mornings unfold with people walking their dogs, reading the newspaper, or making their way to morning Mass. In the city of Antonio Stradivari, the sound of violins occasionally fills the air as everyday life continues with quiet grace. It is peaceful, at times even uneventful, but it remains, unmistakably, Home.
